During my transit in Oslob, I had the opportunity to stay at Casa Solmar. Although my stay was short, I appreciated the convenience of its location. The hotel is just 49 km away from Tagbilaran Airport, making it a convenient option for travelers. there are transport options such as collectivos or buses available, making it easy to reach from the airport.
This was a slight disappointment, especially after a long day exploring the tourist spots in the area.

the location was perfect, just a few meters away from the market, 7-Eleven, town plaza, and the church. It felt safe even at night, which was a relief. the room we booked, which was for 4 people, was surprisingly spacious and cozy. And the best part was that it was affordable! the owners were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to use their plates and utensils even though we brought food from outside. Casa Solmar provided a homely and refreshing experience, making it my favorite accommodation during our stay in Cebu. I would definitely book with them again in the future. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

This budget room was the best we've ever stayed in Oslob! The staff, including Nanay Salome and Tatay Cesar, were incredibly caring and made our stay memorable. The WiFi in the coffee area was lightning fast. The location was great, near a supermarket and karaoke for some fun in the evening. this inn felt like home and had jaw-dropping views from the balcony. The owner was kind and always went the extra mile. We would definitely book here again if we come back to Oslob.

The hotel's decoration is charming and cozy, with beautiful local artwork and comfortable seating areas throughout. It has easy access for senior people, with ramps and handrails in all the right places, making it safe and convenient to move around.
The staff could have been more attentive and helpful to senior guests, providing assistance and information without being asked.

I loved the warm hospitality of the owners, who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. They even prepared a complimentary dinner for us upon our arrival, which was a kind gesture considering our long journey. They also provided excellent assistance in arranging our activities, such as the Whale Shark experience and Sumilon Island escapade. the cleanliness and homely atmosphere of the place added to our overall positive experience.
